If you are both an engineering/pharmacy/architecture entrance and medical entrance aspirant (especially from West Bengal) then this might trouble you. As per the latest official notification of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEE), the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2019 would take place on May 26th, 2019. This puts WBJEE 2019 in direct clashing range of the coveted All India Medical Entrance exam AIIMS 2019.
AIIMS 2019 is scheduled to take place on May 25th, 26th, 2019. Now, if you have applied for AIIMS MBBS and were looking forward to the WBJEE 2019 then this news would give you some tension. Meanwhile, those who have not applied for either of the exams and are looking forward to appearing in both the exams should make registration cum application for the same.
The registration cum application process for AIIMS 2019 has already kicked off (from 30th November 2018). WBJEE 2019 registration cum application process would begin from December 2018. Aspirants should apply for both the exams (if they were preparing for both these exams) and should wait for further updates from official authorities.
At present, aspirants are advised not to take any tension and stay focused on their preparations as any lapse in your preparation would bring in negative consequences at the performance front.

What to Do Now?
This might be the question that would be troubling the aspirants who are preparing for AIIMS 2019 and WBJEE 2019 simultaneously. Now, since it’s an official matter and both the entrance exams are more than 5 months away from it’s quite early to be assured of a clash.
From the past experience, we have seen that such clashes have been avoided by exam conducting authorities by adjusting dates so, that aspirants don’t suffer any loss. However, a complete surety that both the exams would not clash cannot be assumed.
The advice for the aspirants would be to wait and watch and don’t let their preparation suffer. There is sufficient time to take a final call and things would be clear for aspirants at the individual level when the admit cards are released (in case dates for the exams don’t change). So, be calm and stay focused on your preparations.
